Following the partnership established last year between OceanX and InsureMyTrans (IMT), we are glad to announce that, as from today, our members will have direct access to IMTs digital Cargo Insurance solutions. This is now fully integrated within the OceanX Network portal and Tools app.
From here, IMT presents OceanX members with a fast, easy, secure and convenient click-and-buy Cargo Insurance solution.
This cost-effective global cargo insurance solution is based on cooperation with leading Underwriters, Brokers and Claim Handling Agencies, from which OceanX members will enjoy exceptional service and preferred Cargo Insurance rates.
Current roll-out
The initial coverage is available for Business clients whereby the Assured has its presence in Europe and U.S.A. Most commodities are accepted with currently the exception of;
- Foodstuff and Perishables
- Specie, Liquor/Spirits & Tobacco Products, Leather, Skin & Hides, Excisable Goods
- Corpses, Human Remains, Organs, Human & Animal Blood
- Livestock, Trees and Plants
In due course of the year more regions and commodities will be accepted.
