OceanX Innovation Award 2020 goes to Searoutes

Upon review of all the maritime and logistics startups that the network engaged with during the past year, the innovation panel, has selected Searoutes as the winner of the 2020 OceanX innovation award!  

Encouraging industry innovation, OceanX also in 2020 and despite the pandemic, met and engaged with 25 start-ups around shipping and forwarding. Helping to make connections, providing advice and introducing to selected members and our wider network, facilitating trials of their solutions. 

Upon thorough review of all those great companies, Searoutes has been selected as the winner of the OceanX Innovation Award 2020.   

Sustainability is no doubt becoming a key competitive dimension for the transportation industry and Searoutes provides a great solution for transparency in the space, in particular when it comes to shipping. Enabling logistics firms, NVOCCs, forwarders, marketplaces and industry software providers to easily integrate emission calculation into their systems, making it part of their offering and bringing it into the dialogue with customers in an objective manner.

As winner of the Innovation Award, Searoutes will be invited to OceanX’ next annual general meeting this November in Morocco to showcase their solution to network members.
