OceanX founder talks digitalisation at ACE Conference in Shanghai

OceanX founder, Ruben Huber, presented the different segments of digital business models in the freight industry, some background on technologies and conducted a critical review of the status quo.

He outlined how „information technology has become a key success factor for the industry, while often not yet being a core competence“ within transportation and logistics firms.

Following the presentations, he joined an expert panel discussion with Edward Lim (CEO of Dimerco), Vladimir Zubkov (General Secretary of TIACA), Sam Okpro (PRO AirCargo Consulting) moderated by Alex von Stempel (Managing Director of Cool Logistics Resources Ltd.) and Christos Spyrou (Founder & CEO of Neutral Air Partner).

After touching on cryptocurrencies and the potential of their application within internationals trade and logistics, the panel discussion focused on how to attract talent and the younger generation towards the logistics and transportation industry.
