OceanX attended this years Transport Logistics China in Shanghai. During 3 hot days in Shanghai, we have been able to meet many interested parties and prospective members from China, Asia and Europe.

Whilst logistics fairs in China traditionally were not easy to gain scale, Transport Logistics China has grown substantially from its first edition in 2008, this year boasting 667 exhibitors from 65 countries and 26,300 international visitors, both new setting new records. Air Cargo China, thereby still being one of the leading parts within the event, but the integration of “Perilog (perishable logistics) – fresh logistics Asia” this year also drew experts from the cold chain logistics sector to Shanghai.

The conference program, encompassing over 40 events, hit on the key topics of digitalisation and the new silk road.

A strong representation of intermodal operators, international ports, leading Asian logistics firms and digital solution providers were certainly the highlights, while ocean carriers remained underrepresented also this year.
